Turtles In Aqualand
A downloadable game
Turtles in Aqualand is a short NES homebrew platformer made for the 2024 Pixel Game Jam.
The player attempts to save Aqualand from the mutated turtlemen that are cloning themselves in the sewers beneath the city. Avoid the turtlemen and destroy the source of their replication.
Requires a NES emulator or original system with flash cart to run.

Just to avoid misunderstandings. This is a hack of a commercial game, or just a game you hacked together pretty fast? :)
Lol it’s an original game I put together in a few days for a game jam. I consider it a romhack since it’s a game that requires a NES or NES emulator to run. Art, programming, etc all done by me except for the music which were some royalty free tracks from New8bitheroes.
